We can’t all love bulletproof coffee in the same way that you either love cats and hate dogs or vice versa. Of course consider yourself lucky if you like tea and coffee and cats and dogs since you really do get the best of everything!

Let us be realistic for a moment though, where do non coffee drinkers turn for hot beverages on keto? The answer is simple, my bulletproof chai tea. This is a creamy keto bulletproof tea that is the perfect way to start the day if you aren’t a coffee drinker. My bulletproof chai tea recipe is loaded with healthy fats suitable for anyone following a low carb diet.

Most people embarking on a keto meal plan have heard of bulletproof coffee many times previously. There is less helpful information on what works for those that don’t enjoy drinking caffeine?

Well, I set out to give my bulletproof chai tea a robust try because I stopped drinking coffee about a six weeks ago. When making my bulletproof chai tea recipe, I didn’t add any butter or ghee. Instead, I used some brain octane oil and canned coconut milk. So keto tea lovers let me know how you find my bulletproof chai tea once you have sampled the recipe in your own kitchen.

  • 3 organic black tea bags
  • 1 Tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 Tsp ground ginger try to use fresh for a real kick
  • 1/4 Tsp Allspice
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 2 Tbs Brain Octane Oil
  • 1 Can full fat coconut milk
  • 2 Tbsp Lakanto Syrup
  • Pinch Ground Cloves
  • Top with Whipped Cream.


  • The easiest and fastest way is to combine all ingredients in your Instant Pot.
  • Stir them gently.
  • Close the pot and secure it.
  • Set the timer for 10 minutes.
  • When pot unlocks, blend before serving.
  • Top with whipped cream.
