  • Use a grinder made for coffee, nuts or spices and grind up 1 cup walnuts
  • Pour out the ground up walnuts from the grinder and roast in a small skillet on low
  • Add the salt
  • Stir around for about 3 minutes
  • Remove from skillet and allow to cool
  • Add 16 ounces of cream cheese to warm nuts
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and mix well
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes
  • Remove from refrigerator
  • On a cutting board lay one leaf of lettuce at a time and spoon cream cheese and nut mixture inside in a log shape
  • Fold edges of lettuce in and fold underneath
  • Repeat again until mixture is finished
  • Place a toothpick in the center and serve in a tray as an appetizer
