This tasty keto Spanish omelette idea is one keto breakfast suggestion that will have most of you drooling with anticipation; lovingly prepared by Sara, this is her take on the reliable Spanish omelette. Of course we all know that omelettes make for a great tasty breakfast.

There are so many possible omelette variations, tomato, ham, onion, cheese. You name it and there is probably a flavor or speciality we missed. This Spanish omelette variation is Mediterranean and delicious, we tried hard to make it as light and healthy as possible. Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 4 stalks celery chopped into small slices
  • 6 Oz baby spinach
  • 2 Tsp tumeric
  • 1 Tsp cumin
  • 1/2 Tsp Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1/4 Tsp black pepper




Instructions

  • Melt butter in a heated skillet
  • Saute celery slices in skillet
  • Add all seasonings
  • Toss for 3-5 minutes on medium-low heat or until desired tenderness is reached
  • Add Spinach and mix well
  • Beat eggs
  • Move vegetable mix to the side of the skillet
  • Pour beaten eggs on the other side of the skillet
  • Gently fold vegetable mix onto eggs
  • Cook covered or uncovered for 2-3 minutes

Notes

A high quality frying pan will ensure that your keto omelettes never stick or hold extra unhealthy grease and oils, particularly if you prepare a lot of cooked breakfasts.
