  • 1/4 Tsp ground ginger
  • 1 Tsp Lakanto Golden
  • 1/4 Tsp mustard powder
  • 1/4 Tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 Tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 Tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/8 Tsp cinnamon

  • Mix all spices in a small bowl
  • Place the flat iron steaks and mixed spices in a large bag
  • Seal the bag, and shake well
  • Place the bag in the refrigerator overnight on a tray so that the steaks are sitting in the marinade
  • With flat iron steaks, it is best to marinate slowly and cook quickly, sealing the juices in the beef
  • Remove from the refrigerator at least 1 hour before ready to eat
  • Heat up a grill frying pan until it is very hot
  • Cook the steaks for 5 minutes or so on each side, depending on how well you prefer your meat
  • If the meat is at least 3/4 inch thick and you enjoy your meat rare don’t cook longer than 5 minutes per side
  • For thinner cuts, use less time
