Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 Pounds fresh ground beef
  • 1 Tsp Coarse ground black pepper
  • 2 Large onions
  • 1/2 Cup Light olive oil for frying
  • 5 Oz Toasted pecans
  • 1 Tbs coconut oil
  • 1 Tsp Kosher salt
  • 1 Tsp Minced garlic
  • 25 Oz Washed spinach
  • 2 Tbs Vodka
  • 1 Cup seltzer
  • Fox Burger Buns




Instructions

  • Why not prep your keto spinach and pecans burger and serve on a bed of lettuce? How about some cut up avocado slices, tomatoes, peppers and green beans for example. Or any side you choose and/or you can serve on a hamburger bun.
  • Your fav Hamburger Buns
  • In a large pot quickly blanch spinach for one minute in boiling water and a pinch of salt
  • Drain everything and allow to cool
  • Squeeze the spinach until it is firm and dry and chop into very tiny pieces
  • In a pan, fry the onions chopped up into very small squares and drain on paper towels while they cool down
  • Next take a large mixing bowl and place the beef, spinach, black pepper, salt, vodka, coconut oil, minced garlic, fried onions and seltzer within the bowl
  • Mix everything well together
  • Toast the pecans in a fry pan, chop small and add to the meat and mix
  • Cover and place in fridge for a minimum of 2 hours
  • Shape some hamburger patties
  • Place in fridge
  • Grill the hamburgers to desired doneness
  • Serve on :
  • Your fav hamburger buns
  • And/or you can serve on a bed of lettuce with cut up avocado slices, green beans, peppers and tomato, whatever floats your boat really
